I have been seen walking around Henderson and Durham carrying mannequin torsos, large artwork, 100 year old display tables and chrome display racks for Gear & Beer. The weirdest experience was walking around Durham's empty Northgate Mall. I witnessed the death of an era. The death of the shopping mall as a whole. All of the stores were being picked cleaned by auction winners collecting their treasures. It would be the last transactions those store will ever see. Even the facades were being stripped from the walls. The place was slipping away to nothingness with a warm stillness. Stepping into the past as is disappears into the future.
